International Summer School on Global Security for young specialists.

An International Summer School on Global Security was held on June 24 – July 7, 2012.

ISTC co-hosted “International Science Symposium on Combating Radionuclide Contamination in Agro-soil Environment” with Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan and STCU.

During the symposia the results and technologies based on ISTC and STCU projects on decontamination of farmlands and monitoring of agro-environment were presented.

Seminar - Seoul Nuclear Security Summit, Rome, 9 March 2012.

The ISTC participated in a seminar held in Rome ahead of the upcoming Seoul Nuclear Security Summit.

On 15 February 2012, the US-ISTC Governing Board Member visited an ISTC project at the National Center of Biotechnology in Kazakhstan.
