A major activity in the implementation of Project 60, the Regulatory Workshop, took place on line (WEBEX) on 27 and 28 October 2021.The aim of the Regulatory workshop was to follow up on the review of the laws are regulation of all of the participation countries, and to examine their appropriateness for the nuclear security provision.

Kenya is soon to become the first African country to join ISTS. To celebrate this occasion ISTC and KEBS launched on 22 October 2021 an Essay Competition for young African experts and practitioners on the topic: ‘How international cooperation can boost research and development in my area of expertise?’ The results of the contest are to be announced during the upcoming Regional Metrology Conference, scheduled to take place from 6th through 10th December 2021, in Mombasa, Kenya.

On 15 and 16 October, 2021 Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Public Policy (GSPP) hosts a conference entitled Policy change and sectoral reforms in Eurasia. ISTC took part in Session 1 of the conference: Development Challenges in Eurasia.
On 15th of September 2021 the Course on Export Control was launched at the Kyrgyz National University under Zhusup Balasagyn (KNU)".
