The IX International Joint Scientific Symposium "Physics and chemistry of carbon materials / Nanoengineering" and "Nano-energy materials - 2016" was held in Kazakhstan (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Almaty, October 13-15, 2016). The symposium was dedicated to the latest progress in applications of the carbon nanomaterials and the combustion problems.
