ISTC attended alongside with other international organizations and embassies the opening of the forum "Space Days in Kazakhstan
On 31 October 2019 ISTC took part in an International Forum of Scientists and Experts entitled “Unity in Diversity: Kazakhstan and International Experience”, convened in Nur-Sultan and dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Scientific and Expert Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan
On 11 November 2019 European experts from the EC Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) visited the ISTC Headquarters in Nur Sultan
Mr. Ingar Amundsen, the Head of Section International Nuclear Safety, Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority, who is also a representative of Norway on the ISTC Governing Board, visited the ISTC Secretariat in Nur Sultan on 7 November 2019
The ISTC jointly with STCU prepare the next event for members of relevant research communities under the ISTC/STCU - implemented EU-funded Targeted Initiative on CBRN Export Control on Dual Use Materials and Technologies in Central Asia, covering the following countries: Armenia, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

The International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) is an intergovernmental organization connecting scientists from Kazakhstan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia with their peers and research organizations in the EU, Japan, Republic of Korea, Norway and the United States.
ISTC facilitates international science projects and assists the global scientific and business community to source and engage with CIS and Georgian institutes that develop or possess an excellence of scientific know-how.
