Hiroshima Prefectural Government visited ISTC Pavilion at EXPO 2025
On June 15, 2025, Mr. Hamamoto Kiyotaka, Chief of International Affairs and Peace Promotion, Regional Policy Bureau and Ms. Nishzawa Mariko, Project Team Director for Peace Promotion Project Team of Hiroshima Prefectural Government visited ISTC Pavilion.
Hiroshima Prefecture, as the first place suffered from a devastating atomic bomb, has been leading comprehensive efforts to abolish nuclear weapons and promote reconstruction and peace-building initiatives.
ISTC and Hiroshima, both dedicated to non-proliferation and peace, shared information on their activities and projects and began discussions to explore potential collaboration. A delegation from the Hiroshima Prefectural Government, led by Governor Mr. Yuzaki Hidehiko, will visit Kazakhstan in mid-July, including a visit to the ISTC headquarters in Astana.
