EU sanctions seminar held in New Delhi and Mumbai
The International Science and Technology Center and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry supported European Commission and EU Delegation in India in holding training seminars on EU sanctions in New Delhi and Mumbai, India on June 17 and June 19, 2025.
The main goal of the events was to prevent potential circumvention of these restrictions and to increase public understanding of EU sanctions and their application. Both seminars in Delhi and Mumbai were intended for Indian business owners and the private sector who wanted to become more knowledgeable about EU sanctions.
The EU team of trainers is composed of sanctions experts from the European Commission, representatives from EU Member States as well as experts from the EU private sector led the training workshops, which included interactive Q&A sessions and presentations.
