As EXPO Astana-2017 has come to an end, ISTC volunteers share their experiences of working for ISTC
On Monday 11th September, 2017 ISTC's Executive Director met with a South African Delegation at ISTC's offices led by South African Ambassador Ms. Keitumetsi Mathews along with Mr. Francois Davel, Director of International Cooperation and Resources and Mr. Tebogo Makoma of the Department of Science and Technology for South Africa and Desk Officer for Kazakhstan.
On Thursday 7th September the Executive Director David Cleave and Deputy Executive Director Aidyn Turebayev met with Mr. Sameh Hussein, Head of the Capacity Development Department of the Islamic Development Bank in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
ISTC DED Mr. Aidyn Turebayev, SPM and Political Adviser Mr. Kamen Velichkov, SPM Mr. Akira Nakanishi met with the representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore Mr. Jasper Wong, Assistant Director of the Emerging Markets Division, and Mr. NG Ee Yen, Assistant Director of the Chongqing Connectivity Initiative Office.
The meeting was organized to discuss cooperation within ongoing ISTC TI projects and prospects for advanced partnership between Pakistan and ISTC (Astana, 17 August 2017).
At the beginning of August, Prof. Dr. Sergey Lukashenko, NNC Deputy Director General for Radiology and Director of the Institute of Radiation Safety and Ecology (IRSE) visited ISTC Head Office in Astana.
On invitation by ISTC Executive Director David Cleave the Belgian Ambassador Michel Peetermans visited on 4 August 2017 ISTC’s Headquarters at Nazarbayev University in Astana.
On 31 July 2017 ISTC Executive Director David Cleave met with Mr.Talgat Undigenov, Head of Export Control and Licensing Department, Ministry of Investment and Development (MID), on topics related to the cooperation between the Center and the Ministry in the implementation of the new project Export Control on Dual Use Goods and Technology in Central Asia, funded by the EU Instrument supporting Stability and Peace.
