During the last days of their week-long Study Visit to Finnish Nuclear Safety and Security Institutions members of the SADC Nuclear Regulators Network and the Steering Committee of Project MC5.01/15B held a meeting at South-Savo Rescue Department in Mikkele.
On 12 June 2019 ISTC was invited by the EC DEVCO to attend - alongside with STCU and other international organizations – the 7th International Meeting of the National Focal Points of the EU CBRN Risk Mitigation Centres of Excellence Initiative, taking place at La Dolce Hotel in La Hulpe, Belgium.

ISTC's Executive Director David Cleave took part in a joint Mission of the European Union and ISTC to South East Asia to explore possibilities of a continuation of the ongoing cooperation in the area of mitigation of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) risks after 2020 and to introduce ISTC to potential partners in Singapore and Manila, as part of ISTC's outreach strategy to invite new countries to join ISTC and to intensify its cooperation with South East Asia.
