The ISTC participated in the «Nano Tech 2013» International Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan.
The ISTC introduced three Russian projects/technologies at the «Nano Tech 2013» - The12th International Nanotechnology Exhibition & Conference that was held on January 30 – February 1, 2013, in Tokyo, Japan. The exhibition which resides at Tokyo Big Sight exhibition hall each year hosts about 600 companies at 800 booths.
Prominent technologies, such as OLED, polymer nano-composites for solar cells and optical devices, blood serum redox, electrochemical purification of blood plasma from free hemoglobin and miniature X-ray sources from nano- and monocrystal were presented via posters and oral presentations. The ISTC also visited some potential Japanese partners’ offices in Tokyo.
Three days of active work at the Exhibition made it possible to present the ISTC nano technology projects to potential Japanese Partners, including both private companies and governmental organizations. Interest from other countries’ representatives was also very high. Practically all presented technologies aroused interest and questions. The ISTC booth attracted attention of those who were interested in new Russian technologies and cooperation with Russia and the CIS countries with the ISTC support.
The organizer reported that nearly 47,000 people visiting the «Nano Tech 2013» during these three days, the exhibition closed successfully.
