The 2nd online Workshop within the “Building Capacity on Multilateral Verification of Nuclear Disarmament” project.
ISTC has organized the 2nd online Workshop within the “Project Building Capacity on Multilateral Verification of Nuclear Disarmament” funded by VERTIC, On May 19-20.
The meeting was attended by the officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of RK, the Ministry of Energy of RK, the National Nuclear Centre (NNC), the Kazakhstan National Data Centre (KNDC), the Nuclear Technology Safety Centre (NTSC), the ‘Nuclear Society of Kazakhstan’, the Institute of Nuclear Physics (INP), Foreign Policy Research Institute under the MFA of RK. During the workshop participants discussed research reports on different subjects.
As a result of this discussion participants have expressed their opinions on findings which will be reflected in the final papers. This activity will serve as a baseline for the second national meeting in July 2021, and guide the development of the project further.
