The 14th International Conference (Krakow, Poland, September 8-13, 2019) “Mercury as a global pollutant”

With financial support from the ISTC, employees of "Volkovgeology" JSC Kamberov I.M. and Dyussembaev S.A. have taken a part in a poster session on the theme “THE ELIMINATION OF INDUSTRIAL MERCURY POLLUTION IN KAZAKHSTAN UNDER THE PROJECT“ CLEANUP OF THE NURA RIVER ”  on the 14th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Mercury as a World Pollutant”. The Conference was held on high level in the multifunctional Congress center from 8 to 13 September 2019 in Krakow, Poland (photo 1). The conference was attended by over 700 participants from more than 50 countries.

Participation in Conference with report made it possible to share with the world community with experience in the elimination of large-scale technogenic mercury pollution in Central Kazakhstan, carried out during 2007 - 2011. (photo 2). Which had the scientific and practical interest and contributed to the acquisition of new knowledge in the field of the market of equipment and technology in the mercury sector, monitoring the content of mercury in environmental objects and technologies for cleaning mercury and its compounds, communicating and expanding the circle of acquaintances with specialists, establishing potential creative communications with relevant organizations. In particular, meetings were held with specialists from the company developing and supplying equipment and measuring equipment for measuring mercury content in environmental objects: Lumex, TEKRAN Instruments Corporation, NET, Brooks Rand Instruments, Nippon Instruments Corporation, etc. There were presented many reports on 29 sections and familiarized with the poster presentations.
