Virtual meetings to present an innovative new App for commodity identification and     classification took place on Monday, 8 November, and Friday, 12 November 2021.   Developed by the Non-Proliferation Center (NPC), Yerevan, Armenia, the project is   supported by the Targeted Initiative “CBRN Export Control on Dual-Use Materials   and Intangible Technologies in Central Asia,” financed by the EU, and implemented      by ISTC.

 The two meetings were attended by experts from Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova,   Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the European Commission’s Joint     Research Centre (JRC), ISTC and STCU. Participants interacted with the Armenian   developer in a lively exchange of questions and answers and suggested how to     shape the App in the future to be used in their countries.

 The App is now available in a test version for Android phones in the Google Play   Store and is currently free of cost. I can be accessed   at:  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.piktdn.android
