PCR-diagnostic of infectious diseases including COVID-19
The training "PCR diagnostics of infectious diseases, including COVID-19" will be held from November 30, 2020 to January 8, 2021, with the support of International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) and Korean party. The organizers are the Issyk-Kul State University of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kazakh Medical University of Continuing Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The aim of the course is to train medical staff involved in laboratory diagnostics in the methods of PCR diagnostics of infectious diseases, including all stages: sample preparation, DNA / RNA isolation, amplification and identification of Real-Time PCR products. The course is held in on-line format and for participants from Kyrgyzstan - partly in format of real time (off-line). The course program includes following aspects: modern features of epidemiological methods preventing coronavirus infection, infection control, biosecurity and biosafety, clinical laboratory diagnostics and all stages of PCR.
The course will be attended by about 120 healthcare specialists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and Georgia, as well as teaching staff with education in clinical and laboratory diagnostics. Upon completion of the course, the participants will certificate.
