IX International Symposium on Combustion & Plasmochemistry
ISTC Deputy Executive Director Aidyn Turebayev gave an interview while taking part in the International Scientific Symposium:
Over this time the organization has supported more than 3000 projects and 74 000 scientists with a total amount of $ 1 bln in lowering the threat posed by chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear materials that are of proliferation concern.
At the same time, we have encouraged collaborations among broad science community on issues of common interest. This work often has had employed a highly qualified base of personnel on unique projects that sought to provide technical solutions to real world problems. As a result, we have already funded almost 150 projects in the sector of nanotechnology and combustion materials. Combustion science also forms a basis for our modern life, for example, by development of effective fire retardants.
I am confident that this IX International Symposium "Combustion and Plasmochemistry - 2017" is a high profile event. It boosts the opportunity for the world's leading experts to get together for technical discussion and exchange of nanotechnology and conbustion research and development.
I would like to thank all the plenary and invited speakers for insightful contributions, which surely gives a big exposure to the scientific community, and leads towards new findings for the bright future. Thank you very much, and I wish you all a successful meeting.
