In 2025 International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) will become a participant of EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

On 6-7 June 2023 ISTC representatives attended the International Planning Meeting 2023 organized by the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition in Osaka City, Kansai, Japan. Aizada Turekulova, Project Officer and Dinara Serikova, PR Officer attended a conference on the Day 1 where an opening speech was delivered by the Chairperson of Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition, Commissioner General of the 2025 World Expo and Secretary General of BIE.

Then there were sessions on the Masterplan and preparation status of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Virtual Expo and Information Security, Cashless Payment System and the EXPO Digital Wallet Service, Accommodations and the One Stop Shop, Access to the Expo Site / Non-smoking Policy, TEAM EXPO 2025 Programme / Best Practice, National Day and Special Day, Code of Sustainable Procurement, Assistance Programme for Developing Countries and welcome by the official character "MYAKU-MYAKU".

On the Day 2 there was a site visit to Yumeshima (expo venue) and introductory meeting with the Japanese contractors.
