ISTC participated in IPM 2024 as part of preparation to EXPO 2025
The ISTC’s Dinara Serikova attended an Expo 2025 preparatory meeting in Nara City and Osaka, Japan from June 24 through 28. Expo 2025 is scheduled for six months in 2025 in Osaka – from April through October – and will present a variety of exhibitions originating from countries throughout the globe. This is the third time Osaka has hosted the worldwide Expo, having been presented in 1970 and 1990 and this is the first Expo to be held on the sea.
Ms. Serikova represented ISTC at the International Participants Meeting in Nara City which included 160 countries and 600 people from official Expo 2025 participating countries and organizations, including the ISTC. Attendees received a general briefing about Expo 2025 preparations, engaged in event, logistics and communications planning. The projected visitor count for Expo 2025 is 28 million.
