On 24th February the ISTC Director David Cleave and along with Deputy Executive Director Aidyn Turebaev met with Margulan Zhumagali the CEO of AIFC Green Technology Hub to discuss potential collaboration in future green energy projects.
The Zhumagali made a presentation of the Green Technology Hub, a start up since September 2021 and a subsidiary of the AIFC Green Finance Center and linked with Eurasion Development Bank,  with goals to support green and socially significant projects in Kazakhstan and Central Asia and ultimately to support enterprises to achieve carbon neutrality.

Discussions on green geological exploration found synergies with ISTC Partners for future earth satellite and monitoring collaboration. Mr Zhumagali listed several areas of potential cooperation and areas where ISTC could help provide expertise in project subject areas and well as attracting collaborators from USA, Japan and Norway to form a technology bridge.

The ISTC Executive Director agreed with Mr. Zhumagali to further review the possible areas of cooperation and to consider signing a Memorandum of Cooperation in this respect.
