ISTC met with MOFA and MEXT in Tokyo, Japan

On April 14, 2025, ISTC Executive Director Karina Anguelieva and Senior Project Manager Junko Ishikawa visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA) and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT), which are the ISTC’s Government Board Partner organizations.

The ISTC Executive Director exchanged views with Mr. Nakamura Kimitake, Director General for Disarmament, Non-Proliferation, and Science of MOFA, and Mr. Inoue Yuichi, Director-General of the Science and Technology Policy Bureau of MEXT. They discussed expanding cooperation and strengthening collaboration between the parties.
