The ISTC Executive Director David Cleave and Deputy Executive Director Aidyn Turebaev met with Nomma Zarubina, an NGO Representative to the United Nations (ECOSOC) and Ramil  Valeyev from the Kazakh Assembly of People to get acquainted with ISTC on the scientific exchange, ISTC's significant projects, and working, scientific opportunities in Nur-Sultan and possible future cooperation.

Ms Zarubina advised her interest in developing a socially-oriented direction, promoting the Green Association and the sustainable development goals (SDG's) in Central Asia, along with where ISTC could possibly help in this direction. The ISTC Executive Director made a presentation of ISTC's work, history and areas of scientific interests currently being implemented by the ISTC Country Parties through ISTC. Mr Ramil Valeyev invited ISTC to participate in a Roundtable Meeting being organised in March or April,  by the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Nur-Sultan. The two parties agreed to continue communication as to future possible collaboration.
