The Executive and Deputy Executive Directors David Cleave and Aidyn Turebayev on 4th to 6th October visited Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to both visit the ISTC Branch and Branch Manager Dinara Kerimbaeva, and also renew and  reacquaint relations with  ISTC Stakeholders after an absence brought about by the pandemic.

Meetings were held  with the President of the National Academy of Science of Kyrgyzstan Mr. Jumataev Murat, with the Kyrgyz members of the Regional Scientific Committee, with the Rector of KRSU, with Minister B. Kupeshev Bolotbek of the Ministry of Education and Science of KR and the Vice Minister Mr. Madmarov Azizbek of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
        The ISTC Executive Director was able to update all Party stakeholders on the regional activities currently being implemented and planned in Central Asia as well as listen to priority areas of interest from the Ministries and Science Committees where, ISTC could potentially cooperate.

The ISTC plans to visit the other ISTC branches during the remainder of 2021 in order to renew and re-acquaint relations with similar Government, Institutes and Scientific stakeholders in ISTC partner Countries.
