ISTC facilitates development of relations between JAXA and Russian R&D. Visit to JAXA.
ISTC and the JAXA Moscow Office coordinated and supported work meetings that brought together experts from the most prestigious technical university and academicians from institutes in Russia with their peers in the JAXA.
Two meetings at the JAXA (Tsukuba Space Center and Chofu Aerospace Center) were held on October 15 and 16 with joint presentations and working discussions.
Scientists from Moscow Physics and Technology Institute and IZMIRAN (Institute of Earth magnetism, ionosphere and radiowaves propagation n. a. N. Pushkov, RAS) presented achievements of recent research projects. Topics for potential Japan-Russia cooperation were proposed.
ISTC experience in facilitating and supporting development of Japan-Russia aerospace cooperation was presented in the report “ISTC and Collaborative Programs with Japan”.
