ISTC and Mongolia enjoy fruitful cooperation
On 27th August 2018 the Mongolian Ambassador in Astana, H.E. Mr. Luvsan Battulga visited the ISTC Main Office to discuss with the Executive Director David Cleave the collaborations on topics of common interest and the prospects for further and more structured cooperation between Mongolia and ISTC. The meeting was a continuation of the regular dialogue between the Mongolian Embassy and the ISTC Secretariat.The two interlocutors noted with satisfaction the record of regional projects in Central Asia in which Mongolia was or continues to be an active participant: Project 53 on biosafety and biosecurity, Regional Table Top exercise on radiation emergency preparedness Sunkar, CBRN Export control on Dual Use Materials and Technologies, etc.
The meeting was attended by Ms. Deborah Gordon, Executive Director, Preventive Defense Project, Stanford University; Mr Lkhagva Baatarchuluun, Councillor at the Mongolian Embassy; ISTC Deputy Executive Director Aidyn Turebayev; Kamen Velichkov, ISTC SPM and Diplomatic Advisor and Ms. Samal Asainova, ISTC Project Officer.
