ISTC and European Union organised a training workshop in Istanbul, Turkey on EU sanctions
On 13-14 July, the European Union (EU) and International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) held a training workshop in Turkey on EU sanctions with organisational support from the Association of Certified Sanctions Specialists (ACSS).
The primary aim of the workshop was to raise awareness of EU sanctions and their application, and to prevent possible circumvention of these measures. The workshop gathered private businesses and industry associations operating in Turkey.
The training was run by a team of EU representatives and experts, and included presentations and Q&A sessions.
The workshop was opened by EU Sanctions Envoy David O’Sullivan.
