EU Sanctions Training Workshops 24 and 25 April 2023, Astana
On 24 and 25 April 2023, the European Union is organising training workshops in Kazakhstan on EU sanctions. The primary aim of the workshops is to raise awareness of EU sanctions and their application, and to cooperate to counter possible circumvention of these measures.
The workshops will be conducted in Astana (venue to be confirmed). Working languages will be English and Russian.
The meeting on 24th of April will gather government officials. The workshop on 25th April is targeted to Kazakh private operators that are interested to improve their awareness of EU sanctions. The workshop will coincide with a visit of EU Sanctions Envoy David O’Sullivan to Kazakhstan.
Private companies interested in registering for the workshop of 25 April are invited to send an email to SanctionsKZ@istc.int. The deadline for registrations is 18 April 2023.
The workshop is organised with the support of the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC).
