Announcement: EU Sanctions Seminar on July 3, 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand
The European Union is organizing a full-day training seminar on EU sanctions, scheduled to take place in Bangkok on July 3, 2025.
The primary aim of the seminar is to raise awareness of EU sanctions and their application, and to cooperate to counter possible circumvention of these measures.
The EU team of trainers is composed of sanctions experts from the European Commission, representatives from EU Member States as well as experts from the EU private sector (compliance divisions of major banks, exports and transportation/logistics companies).
The seminar is free of charge and targeted to private operators interested in improving their awareness of EU sanctions. Companies and industry representatives who would like to participate in the seminar can register using the following link.
The seminar will take place in Bangkok (venue will be communicated to confirmed participants). The working languages will be English and Thai. The deadline for registrations is June 26, 2025, after which participation will be confirmed by email.
The seminar is organised with the support of the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC).
