The workshop, hosted by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning ROK, took place in Seoul, Korea. The event brought together ten leading scientists from Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Armenia and Tajikistan with their numerous counterparts and industrial companies from South Korea. NanoCon became one interactive platform exchanging opinions, discussing the hot topics in advanced nanomaterials & nanometrology, nanonuclear materials, nanomedicine and nanobiotechnology including their industrial application.

In parallel to the workshop a number of satellite meetings was held among the speakers, researchers and industrial customers exchanging ideas and promoting collaborations.

Besides the event, on November 4, the delegation of academics and researchers from CIS countries and Georgia visited Korea Testing & Research Institute, a company proving the testing, certification and technical consulting in all areas of industry, and SAMHWA, the air conditioning engineering company.

Active work made it possible to deliver the prominent nanotechnologies on individual technical meetings with both private companies and governmental organizations.
