On September 21 in Irkutsk, the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) and Irkutsk Scientific Center of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences held a joint event to promote the benefits and services available from ISTC 

The ISTC delegation, headed by Deputy Executive Director, Prof. W. Gudowski, and specialists in the preparation of project proposals for ISTC funding gave presentations on the structure, main activities and services of ISTC; partner and regular projects, information on project funding, sustainable development of Russian institutes and other programs (Workshops, Mobility and Patenting support). 

Leaders of universities and academic institutions of Irkutsk region attended the event. 

Prof. Andre Syrota (France) and Prof. Henry Mantsch (Canada) made special lectures for the participants.

In further meetings, ISTC and Irkutsk Scientific Center, under the chairmanship of Academician M.I. Kuzmin, held multilateral discussions on developing future cooperation. Irkutsk Scientific Center and ISTC now plan to develop further collaboration and continue the expansion of ISTC activity in the Irkutsk region.
