On 22-25 August 2014, the International Scientific Workshop on Light-Matter coupling in composite nanostructures (LIMACONA 2014) was held in Yerevan, Armenia. The event was sponsored by the ISTC.
The Workshop was devoted to the recent advances in micro- and nano-structured materials, light interaction with the structured media that are used in material science, photonics and optics. The Workshop topics cover all the aspects from fundamentals of the relevant physical processes to practical implementations. The meeting brought together scientists actively working in the related fields providing good opportunities to discuss the actual problems and the latest developments in this rapidly developing area of research.
Further information will be available from the organizers: Institute for Physical Research of National Academy of Sciences of Armenia (Rafael Drampyan, e-mail: drampyan@gmail.com), Mediterranean Institute for Fundamental Physics (Alexey Kavokin), University of Bath (Andrey Gorbach), and also from the conference administrative secretary, Anna Miroshnichenko of Mediterranean Institute for Fundamental Physics (e-mail: annamir@mifp.eu).
