Innovation and Technology Transfer Seminar: presentations are available
On 27-28 September 2011 the 14th Seminar of the ISTC Scientific Advisory Committee was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The event was focused on issues, related to the development of innovations and technology transfer in a global security environment.
The seminar was organized by the ISTC in cooperation with the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the National Nuclear Center of Kazakhstan (INP NNC RK). The event was attended by over 120 scientists and experts, representatives of scientific organisations and enterprises from Armenia, Canada, EU, Georgia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia,Tajikistan, Ukraine and from the USA. Representatives of Governmental Agencies of Kazakhstan, various Embassies and International organizations accredited in the Republic of Kazakhstan also were among the Seminar participants.
Special attention was paid to sharing experience in the field of innovation and technology transfer, reviewing and summing up of the achieved results, discussing practical solutions and lessons learned to establish commercial partnerships. The role and involvement of governmental organizations were also discussed.
The invited speakers presented their overviews of successful innovation projects. All given presentations, as well as an electronic version of the Book of Abstracts are available here.
