13th SAC Seminar "New Perspectives of High Energy Physics", Novosibirsk, 01-05 September 2010
The Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) of the International Science & Technology Center (ISTC) jointly with the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) and with the assistance of the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics (Novosibirsk) are organizing the 13th SAC seminar "New Perspectives of High Energy Physics", in Novosibirsk, Russian Federation, on 01 – 05 September 2010.
The seminar will report on the latest achievements and challenges in High Energy Physics and aims to identify future developments in this field as well as possible technology transfers to other areas such as medicine and informatics. A special session will focus on the role and contribution of young scientists into high energy physics research. Past and future cooperation between CERN and Russian/CIS institutes will be an important subject on the agenda.

Technical Program:
The first four days (01 – 04 September 2010) of the 13th SAC Seminar will serve as a forum for presentations and discussions of modern scientific and technical ideas, plans, and/or proposals. Sunday 05 September 2010 will be a day of Technical visits.
Oral Sessions will include selected presentations and lectures by Invited Speakers.
Young Scientists Session:The competitive “Young Scientists Session” will be organized during the 4th day of the Seminar including 10 minute oral presentations by 9 young scientists (no older than 35 years) on the basis of pre-selection from the list of abstracts (oral or poster). Presentations of young scientists will be evaluated by the Selection Committee and three winners will be awarded as follows: 1st prize - financial support of the winner’s participation in an international conference or workshop on a selected topic within the High Energy Physics subject area (up to $2,500) 2d prize - financial reward ($1,500) 3d prize - financial reward ($1,000)
Poster Sessions will be organized during the Seminar.
Language: The official language of the Seminar will be English.
