On September 19, 2024, an ISTC delegation, including Senior Program Manager J. Ishikawa and Project Officer A. Turekulova, visited the M. O. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University for a technical monitoring session. They engaged in discussions about the university's significant scientific projects with the administration, including Vice-Rector for Research and Development, U. S. Suleimenov.

The visit featured a round table, where Professor N.O. Dzhakipbekova presented the international project GE-2506, project name is "Scientific substantiation of the possibility of creating new bactericidal zeolite filter materials for purification-decontamination of water from various sources". This collaborative initiative, which runs from 2022 to 2025, involves Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Armenia. This visit underscores the ongoing commitment to supporting the Kazakh scientific community and enhancing international cooperation in scientific research and academia.
