ISTC had a meeting with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On September 18, 2024 Executive Director David Cleave and Deputy Executive Director Rashitdin Kokenov visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. They met with Akan Rakhmetullin, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and discussed current projects, issues, activities and future collaboration. The meeting was an opportunity reacquaint the First Deputy Minister on ISTC's Mission not only in Kazakhstan but also in the region and worldwide.
The International Science and Technology Center was officially licensed as a diplomatic mission to run the Headquarters operational activities in Kazakhstan by the Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2015, although ISTC was having a representative office in Kazakhstan since 1995, and in 2015 it became a Head office of ISTC.
