Promising talks in Japan for US /Japan/Kazakhstan multilateral collaboration on Nuclear Security Training
On 7-8 of June 2016, the ISTC coordinated the visit of a Kazakhstan delegation, headed by Mr. Shaldybayev Marat, Head of Nuclear Security Department, Kazakhstan Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control, to Japan to tour the Integrated Support Center for Nuclear Nonproliferation and Nuclear Security (ISCN) of Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA).

Tajik researcher introduced a unique study on Hepatitis E virus at a Liver disease conference (APASL 2016) in Tokyo
Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL) is the largest conference focused on innovative achievements on annual basis in treating liver diseases. In 2016 APASL was held on February 20-24 in Tokyo, Japan. At the conference Tajik medical expert from Institute of Gastroenterology of the Ministry of Health presented a unique study on interlink of Hepatitis E virus to HIV infection. The participation of Tajik expert was supported by ISTC Travel Grants.
The 34th ISTC-Korea Workshop was held on November 26-27, 2015 at the Pusan National University in Pusan, Korea
The workshop was dedicated to titanium materials and their manufacturing technologies. It was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of Korea, the Korean Ministry of Technology, ICT and Future Planning, and the ISTC.
