Statement of the 34th Governing Board


The ISTC completed its 34th Project Funding Session on 19 July 2004. ISTC Funding Parties reviewed more than 270 project proposals, and approved 25 new projects representing nearly $2 million and Euro 4,6 million in funding for technology projects in Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and the Kyrgyz Republic. New funding was provided by the European Union, Canada and Japan.

The International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) is an intergovernmental organization connecting scientists from Kazakhstan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia with their peers and research organizations in the EU, Japan, Republic of Korea, Norway and the United States.


ISTC facilitates international science projects and assists the global scientific and business community to source and engage with CIS and Georgian institutes that develop or possess an excellence of scientific know-how.
