Краткое описание проекта

Goal of the Project: optimization of plastic deformation processes of metals using the method of operative nondestructive check of structure changes in materials and appropriate selection of technological modes. It chiefly actually for machining high-priced hard-to-deform and heat-resistant alloys from which are manufactured the most responsible components, for example, turbomachine disks.

The method of operative nondestructive check of structure changes in materials is based on conditioning into the prototype of special diagnosing signal, it analysis and processing. Variation of parameters of this signal allows to estimate the structure changes of material.

This method can be used for diagnostic of structured state of different materials including inaccessible or difficult of access places, for example, under processing the metals by deforming, in cryoengineering, thermoprocessing, in powder metallurgy, in nuclear reactors, electric power installation and others. The possibility to realize forecasting and estimation of condition of load-carrying designs and structural elements of articles working in extreme conditions, for example, under the influence of high and low temperatures, hostile environments, increased radiation also appears.

Relevance of this method, for example, under processing the materials by deforming is expressed in the determination of the moment of structural conversion of material to the condition under which it will impact least resistance to deforming. It will allow greatly reduce volume of preliminary studies and working off technological modes on the laboratory samples and practically to exclude selecting modes on full-scale pilot samples of articles, and operatively correct technological modes for more efficient using the characteristics of material and equipment possibilities, and also it will ensure saving material, optimum using the equipment and technology and will raise articles quality. Besides, it will allow reduce the time of equipment adjustment and the time of working off technology during turning from one product line to another.

Lock-and-key element of finishing result of the Project will be creation of scientific and technical base for the further development of research and development work in the area of manufacturing application and development of this technology and equipment, particularly, for processing the metals by deforming.
