Краткое описание проекта

The project's aim is to develop and manufacture the medical equipment - devices of the frequency - adaptive intermittent local barotherapy of the extremities, intended for conservative treatment of the state caused by disturbance of peripheral blood circulation of various origins.

Devices existing now do not allow using the energy of a pulse wave for normalization of peripheral blood circulation; do not allow measuring out effectively compressive and decompression components of influence depending on the treatment purposes and tasks for various patients.

To solve these problems we suggest using the dosed stimulation of peripheral blood circulation, by the intermittent (alternating) compression and decompression of various levels of low and high pressure created in a pressure chamber. The information parameter used in the device is the frequency of heartbeat with correction for inpidually selected speed of pulse wave propagation. Variable barometric influence in the course of treatment can be used repeatedly as one of the major components of the conservative treatment of patients with an obliterating atherosclerosis of the lower extremities; with diabetic angiopathy; posttraumatic changes in the area of extremities joints; patients with venous insufficiency; patients after reparative operations on extremities (in traumatology and orthopedy, plastic surgery) and in others.

The fact that many patients are potentially recommended to use this device gives us the grounds to consider its development and using as a task of the big social importance which solution is economically effective.

Realization of the project solves the primary ISTC task of reorientation of research activity of the experts working in the area of arms for peace problems.
