Project summaryThe main aim of the project is the discussion of probiotics as an important agents of rehabilitation of sportsmen at physical exertion and overtraining.
As during and after sport fatigue the inhibition of organism adaptation takes place, so the usage of probiotics is preferred, because the latter are considered as important factors not only for restoration of commensal microorganisms of intestinal microbiota, but also for increasing adaptation-compensatory possibilities of organism. Probiotics posses anti-free radical, immune stimulating activities and possibility to take part in processing, distribution and absorption of nutrients in intestine.
