Project summary

Goal: To search new energy saving technologies based on renewing energy resources, allowing uninterrupted work of traffic lights, street lightening, cooking and water boil by using solar energy, heating and hot water maintenance of inhabited and industrial rooms at the expense of use cavitation processes in the liquids of aerodynamic air heating.

Introduction and review

It is impossible to imagine the modern person’s life without different kinds of electrohousehold equipments, that surround us on almost every step. Any interruptions of electric power supply breaks the habitual process of people life and it is perceived as emergency situation. Citizens will be cut from all kinds of civilization: TV sets are off, telephone, and foods in refrigerators go bad and so on.

Unstable maintenance of the country with the electricity affects everybody, including different organizations, factories and plants, whose main job is to produce foodstuff goods, which is perishable. Therefore, the producers have to move to other countries where electricity is supplied stably. Electricity interruptions in social environments are commonly observed. There are traffic jams in the streets of the bigger cities in Kyrgyzstan because of the turning off the power on the traffic lights. During building the whole micro regions it was provided that each room should be heated by electric boilers, and for cooking there had to be electric bakers. During last years, it is observed that winters are longer and colder in Kyrgyzstan. People need to stay inside of the house where the air temperature not above 10-12o C.

Above mentioned situations in Kyrgyzstan connected with electric power interruptions lead to the search of new energy saving technologies based on renewing energy resources, that will help to provide an unbreakable work of traffic lights, street lightening, heating and hot water supply of inhabited and producing buildings.

Project is going to provide research and development of:

  1. aerodynamic heating installations;
  2. thermal boiler heat generator, which uses cavitation process in liquids;
  3. solar-electric equipments based on light emitted diode lamps
  4. the solar furnace

Project tasks:
  1. Aerodynamic heating installations:
    • research conductions on optimization of target parameters of the unit;
    • creating a construction-technological documentations of an industrial sample of installation;
    • overlapping of installation with existing systems of heating;
  2. Thermal boiler heat generator, which uses cavitation process in liquids:
    • definition of the basic constructive elements to create cavitation in the flowing channel by means of local narrowing of a flow with the subsequent expansion: Venturi tube, Laval and conoid nozzles, (static axial vortical heaters of a liquid)
    • definition of the basic constructive elements to create cavitation by means of liquid flow turbulence: screw, screw channels, tangentially directed channels (static tangential vortical heaters of a liquid)
    • definition of the basic constructive elements for creation cavitation by means of mechanical activation of a liquid after influencing on liquids the mobile activators - rotors, kinematically connected with a source of the twisting moment, rotating, varying or making complex movement (dynamic vortical heaters of a liquid)
    • definition of movement parameters of a liquid according to the system of heating: liquid flow speeds, liquid system pressure;
    • engineering account method development and designing heat generators, taking into account interrelations of all influencing parameters on liquid cavitations.
  3. solar-electric equipments based on light emitted diode lamps
    • necessary power and quantity definition of light emitted diode lamps installed on traffic lights and fixtures of street illumination
    • development of an industrial sample design of traffic lights and fixtures
    • development of the construction-technological documentation
    • definition of technical and economic efficiency
  4. Solar furnace:
    • optimization of industrial sample data design of solar furnaces
    • development of the construction-technological documentation
    • definition of technical and economic efficiency
Expected results:
  • To develop an industrial sample of aerodynamic heating installation of inhabited rooms;
  • To develop an industrial sample of heat generator, used for cavitation creation which is occurring the flowing channel by means of local narrowing of a flow with the subsequent expansion

In the developed installations for heating systems (till item. 1 and 2.) there are no coal or gas boilers, and also electroboiler, thus heating system of rooms considerably becomes simpler, the application is eliminated as coal fuel, black oil and gas, consumption of electrical energy considerably decreases, as developed elements of heating system work without the electroboiler, which consumes hundreds of kilo watt of electrical energy.
  • To develop an industrial sample of solar-electrical devices based on light emitted diode lamps

The developed devices differ by work autonomy, in which the solar energy is accumulated and electrically economic and durable light emitted diode lamps are used, allowing to supply uninterrupted work of traffic lights and street illumination in night time of day.
  • To develop an industrial sample of the solar furnace

The solar furnaces allow preparation of food and water boiling without use of electrical and other kinds of a thermal energy.
