Project summary
The project purpose is the systematization of materials on methods and means for providing working efficiency of friction units and space machinery mechanisms.VNIITRANSMASH has great experience, since 1963, at providing working efficiency of friction units and different space machinery mechanisms. Here were developed some methods and stand equipment, which allow to ran tribotechnics research of construction and lubricating materials in a wide range of negative and positive temperature, loading, sliding speed, in vacuum and different unaggressive gases.
In cooperation with related organizations a range of self-lubricating materials, antifriction coverings, plastic lubricants and methods to increase the wear-resistance of construction materials were developed.
As result of this project the summarizing material will be made on methods of providing working efficiency; methods and equipment for tribotechnics tests of construction and lubricating materials, mechanisms, articles; properties of lubricating materials, examples of solving problems in providing, working efficiency of concrete space mechanisms.
The International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) is an intergovernmental organization connecting scientists from Kazakhstan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia with their peers and research organizations in the EU, Japan, Republic of Korea, Norway and the United States.
ISTC facilitates international science projects and assists the global scientific and business community to source and engage with CIS and Georgian institutes that develop or possess an excellence of scientific know-how.
