Project summary

Goal of the project is the creation of a new rotary turbodrill in drilling technic, for incline-directed drilling of deep gas and oil wells.

Another goal of the project is the development and investigation of rotary turbine stage and creation of the polystage rotary face engine, "RFE".

Topicality of the subject is that the existed turbines and screwing face engines are characterized by not high efficiency and resource of working. The proposed polystage rotary face engine, new by its method of working and construction, has comparatively high efficiency and resource of working than the existed ones.

Scientific newness of the project is the development of method of calculation and construction of the new rotary face engine, which is differ by its method of working and construction of stator, rotor and working blades from the existed rotary engines in hydraulic.

Practical value of the project is the creation, on the bases of mentioned research works well be created new and more effective rotary turbodrill for incline-directed drilling of deep gas and oil wells.

Realization of the project will contribute the development of an important trend of science and technic of deep well drilling.

The project has also great importance to support, to preserve and to educate specialists of technic and technology of drilling of deep gas and oil wells in Georgia.
