The EU Project 5.01 13B on Nuclear Safety and Safeguards in Southern Africa attracts attention at the first International Regulators Conference on Nuclear Security on the continent, convened in Morocco
The event sought to further strengthen and sustain national, regional and international cooperation, and enhance capacity building for nuclear security around the world in general and, in Africa, in particular.
ISTC, together with IAEA, AFCONE, WNU, IYNC and other international and regional organizations delivered a strong message of encouragement to the AYGN as this continent-wide network of young professionals convened its Second African Youth Nuclear Summit in Pretoria, from 8 through 11 October.

On 4 September 2019 ISTC attended the First Forum of Asian Countries’ Writers” in Nur-Sultan, inaugurated by President Kassim-Jomart Tokayev who stated that the Forum should become an important platform for cultural dialogue.
